Carla Tamayo, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
As a Primary Care Physician at Pravan Health, Dr. Tamayo developed a broader perspective on the relationship among skin, overall health, nutrition, metabolism, and lifestyle. That experience inspired her to expand her work into esthetic medicine and lead the clinic’s esthetics program.
At Pravan Esthetics, she brings that medical background into conversations about skin, visible changes, and esthetic goals. Her role helps connect the practice’s physician-led foundation with a clear and considered approach to care.
Lumaris Rivera Vega, FNP-BC is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Universidad Ana G. Méndez and holds bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Biology.
Her esthetic-medicine training includes neuromodulators, microneedling, PRX, chemical peels, and other skin rejuvenation procedures. Her nursing and science background supports a collaborative approach built around listening, communication, and understanding what each person would like to address.
Lumaris brings a patient-centered perspective to Pravan Esthetics, with an emphasis on balance, individual goals, and care that respects each person’s features.
Raquel Berezdivin, PA-C is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant with more than eight years of experience in esthetic medicine. She is licensed to practice in Puerto Rico and Florida.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University before completing her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University. Her experience includes cosmetic injectables, skin rejuvenation, and esthetic treatment planning.
Raquel regularly pursues additional training with dermatologists and esthetic experts across the United States. She brings this experience to Pravan Esthetics through informed, measured care and a focus on helping people understand the options available to them.
